"Action Plans for Oakville"

New Home Grant in Oakville

Implement an immediate $100,000 interest free municipal grant (non-taxable) for first-time home buyers. This grant will be available for home purchases in Oakville only.

New traffic By-Laws

Drivers who demonstrate infraction free records for a minimum of 12 consecutive months will, upon confirmation, receive a paid discount up to $1000 on their individual vehicle insurance.

Support for local businesses

Program to implement the (neglected)

support needed to help reactivate and grow their much-needed companies and stores into advanced profitable enterprises. This support will include a program that immediately reduces the property taxes on all ICI properties and, in turn, reduces rent payments to business owners on an equal level.

Eco friendly town

Implement an immediate task force to quickly and efficiently look for and implement a plan of action to adapt our entire town to the upcoming and inevitable effects of climate change and global warming.

Residents First

All councillors will return all inquiries and/or questions from their ward residents in a timely manner (within 12 hours) or face severe financial consequences from the Mayoral office.

Council wage freeze

The immediate implementation of a 2-year wage freeze for the Mayor and all Councillors and the elimination of all expense accounts for the Mayor and Councillors. Service first money last.

Gordon's Path to Council

Gordon has been a licensed Real Estate Agent since 1981.

He has sold over 3500 residential homes across the GTA including over 300 new homes in Oakville. His knowledge and experience uniquely qualify him to become Oakville's newest councillor especially in relation to the real estate issues in all sectors: industrial, commercial, investment, residential, property taxes, business taxes, retail store owners, construction, capital assets.

Also he has been a tutor for children on the autistic spectrum.

He tutored almost 100 students at Oakville’s Sheridan College towards their graduation diplomas. Gordon has also studied Early Childhood Education (ECE) at Sheridan College.

Gordon has been repeatedly awarded for strong negotiation skills.

His open and fully transparent work ethics., empathy with all residents and is always completely non-partisan. If elected, no political ideology will be utilized in policy and by-law creation.

Gordon was a volunteer at Big Brothers of Halton for 8 years.

Also he planting trees all over Oakville for 4 years as a volunteer at Oakvillegreen. Gordon helps not only local residents, but everyone who needs help - this year he hosted a mother and daughter from Ukraine whose came to Canada because of the war.

He has experience in elections, but remains a human, not a politician.

"I take part in elections for the sake of the people, not for the sake of victory. But if you voted for me, I will do you even more good, and make our town better". He ran for Mayor of Oakville in 2014. In 2018 he ran for Regional/Town Councillor for Ward 4.
